Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Pecunia website or enrolling in any Pecunia program. By accessing this website or registering for a program, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or enrol in our programs.

1. Definitions
- "Pecunia", "we", "us", "our" refers to Pecunia, registered in Malaysia at 11, Jalan Pinang, 50450 Kuala Lumpur
- "Program" refers to any educational course, session, or workshop offered by Pecunia
- "Participant" or "you" refers to any individual who registers for or attends a Pecunia program, or who uses this website
- "Content" refers to all materials, workbooks, presentations, and information made available through our programs or website
- "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or registering for a program, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under Malaysian law. If you are acting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.
3. Nature of Our Services
Pecunia provides financial education programs. Our programs are educational in nature and are not regulated financial advice, investment advice, or any form of advice regulated under the Securities Commission Act 1993, Capital Markets and Services Act 2007, or Financial Services Act 2013 (Malaysia).
Program content is designed to improve financial knowledge and equip participants with frameworks for personal decision-making. Participants are responsible for their own financial decisions. We recommend consulting a licensed financial advisor for personalised financial advice.
4. Program Enrolment
- Enrolment in a program constitutes a binding agreement to pay the applicable program fee
- A confirmation will be sent via email upon receipt of full payment
- Program dates, times, and locations are confirmed in the enrolment confirmation
- Pecunia reserves the right to reschedule or cancel programs in exceptional circumstances, with reasonable notice provided to enrolled participants
- Minimum participant numbers apply to certain programs; if a session does not meet the minimum, Pecunia may reschedule or offer alternatives
5. Payment Terms
- Program fees are displayed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are inclusive of all materials, unless otherwise stated
- Payment is due in full prior to program commencement unless an alternative arrangement is confirmed in writing
- Accepted payment methods include DuitNow, online banking transfer, and major credit/debit cards
- Corporate or group bookings may be subject to alternative payment terms agreed in advance
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Cancellation more than 14 days prior to the program start date: full refund, less any bank transfer charges
- Cancellation 7–14 days prior: 50% refund of program fee
- Cancellation less than 7 days prior: no refund; participant may nominate a replacement attendee at no additional charge
- No-show without prior notice: no refund
- If Pecunia cancels or significantly reschedules a program, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another scheduled session
7. Participant Conduct
Participants are expected to engage respectfully with educators and fellow participants. Pecunia reserves the right to remove any participant who behaves in a manner that disrupts the learning environment or is harmful to others. No refund will be provided in such circumstances.
- Recording of sessions (audio, video, or screen) is not permitted without prior written consent from Pecunia
- Sharing or distributing program materials beyond personal use is not permitted
- Personal financial information shared by any participant during a session should not be repeated or disclosed outside the session
8. Intellectual Property
All program content, workbooks, presentations, and website materials are the intellectual property of Pecunia or our licensed content partners. Participants are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use program materials for personal educational purposes only.
- Materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without written consent
- The Pecunia name, logo, and branding are registered marks and may not be used without permission
9. Educational Disclaimers
- Program content is provided for educational purposes only and does not constitute financial, legal, tax, or investment advice
- Pecunia does not represent that any particular financial strategy or approach is appropriate for any individual participant
- Past market data and case studies used in programs are for illustrative purposes and do not indicate future outcomes
- Regulatory and market information is current at the time of program delivery and may change
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Pecunia shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your participation in a program or use of this website, including but not limited to financial losses resulting from decisions made based on program content.
Our total liability to you in connection with any claim shall not exceed the program fee paid by you for the relevant program.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pecunia, its educators, and staff from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your use of program materials beyond the permitted scope, or any misrepresentation you make in connection with your enrolment.
12. Termination
Either party may terminate their agreement under these Terms by providing written notice. Pecunia may terminate a participant's access to programs or this website if these Terms are breached. Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution shall survive termination.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, specifically in Kuala Lumpur. Pecunia encourages informal resolution of any disputes prior to formal legal proceedings. Contact [email protected] to initiate informal resolution.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be communicated via notice on our website. Continued participation in our programs or use of this website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
